Millions of train passengers can use the free wifi service soon
Installation of wifi routers on the 735 trains listed in the MAV-Start refurbishment programme is to be completed soon.
The infrastructure for free wifi service is being created in an increasing number of regions and therefore free wifi is now available to passengers on the InterCity train services to Miskolc, Nyíregyháza, Debrecen, Pécs, Szeged and Szombathely, as well as on the complete Budapest suburban railway network.
The wifi service on board can be used simultaneously by several hundreds of passengers on each train, which means that tens of thousands of people can spend their time writing emails, reading websites, visiting social networking sites or working.
